Yes, the votes have been tallied, and it’s time to announce the winners of the first annual Best Archives on the Web Awards. This week each category will get its own post, spotlighting the winners and what them made stand out.

    This is a great idea! I wish I had thought of it a couple of years ago. For an independent project for my MLIS, I evaluated a small set of state archives’ websites. I’m wondering what criteria did you use to evaluate the nominations for best archives websites?
