Survey for institutions of higher education (US only)

This request was submitted to the listserv, but I thought I’d pass it along here too:

My name is Lisa Gregory. I am a graduate student at the School for Information and Library Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am writing to invite you to participate in a survey as part of a research study I am conducting for my master’s paper. This survey asks for information about archiving websites at institutions of higher education within the United States.

If you are a librarian or archivist working at one of these institutions, even if you are not currently working with websites, I would appreciate your responses. I hope that the results of this survey will help inform the library and information science community about the practices and ideas of web archiving.

The survey can be accessed through the link above. It contains 18 questions and should take about 10 minutes to complete. Your responses will remain anonymous. At the end of the survey, you will have the option of submitting your email address to be entered into a random drawing for one of four $25.00 Amazon.com gift certificates. You may also submit your email address if you would like a final copy of the report.
