Micro-volunteering, anyone?
If I could tag my own posts as favorites, I’d do that for this one. Today is a busy day so I’ll just share it without analysis, but I think you will all see the potential for archives to benefit from this kind of micro-volunteering, and the opportunity for a lot of you to contribute your own knowledge and skills for organizations who need help.
The company is The Extraordinaries, and I strongly encourage you to go and learn more on their site.

Thank you for the link! Firstly I would say that the presentation is really well done what incite you to go further and see how works this company.
Then I find the principle amazing and powerful indeed. The power of networking is so impressive as commoncraft explain it in the video “social networking in plain english”. The link of this video is in the rubric “presentation about 2.0″ of the category “Archives & Web 2.0″.
If everyone participate by giving a little bit of time, some huge work can be done, and that is amazing…
