Updates about Haiti

– The IFLA site has a message from the Director-General of the National Library of Haiti saying that their building is the only one standing in the whole area.

– There were some rumors on Twitter that the National Archives building had totally collapsed. The Haiti 2010 Blue Shield Solidarity group on Facebook has posted a satellite image that shows the building with its roof mostly intact. See also this post from the Archivalia blog, which also shares the image.
